Women's Ministries is an outreach arm of our assembly that meets for worship, the word, work projects and of course, lots of great laughs. Every second monday night at 7:30 pm, at the Church, in the newly renovated and decorated Women's Ministries Room.
Women's Ministries is designed to meet the needs and provide a place of ministry for women of all ages to express their Christian faith, to grow together in Gods Word and to take what they learn and activate their gifts out into the community and surrounding area. Women's Ministries are involved in many outreach programs:
- Visitation to Seniors and Shut ins
- Making /Providing gifts for seniors
- Supporting Pastors in smaller assemblies
- Sewing - Cross stitich, quilting, knitting,etc.
- Assisting other departments in the church with Socials and Food
- Providing food for the bereaved
- Collection of clothing
- Collection of eyeglasses
- Collection of toys and other used items which are distributed to needy families, churches and other organizations.
- Collection and orgainzation of Samartian's Purse
- Pennies for Pioneers
Women's Ministries provides many oppurtunities for our ladies to reach out to other ladies in the church, commmunity and province. Their focus is to meet the immediate needs of others in a tangible and direct way. Other outreach events include regularly planned FUN nights within the community and surrounding area where women are invited to come and share in an evening of hospitality and fun.
There are always smiles to be shared, hugs to be received and a cheerful word to send you on your way.
